Clay Epstein is President of Film Mode Entertainment. Prior to founding Film Mode in 2016, Epstein held the position of Senior Vice President, Sales and Acquisitions at Arclight Films. There he represented numerous high profile films including PREDESTINATION starring Ethan Hawke and JUNGLE starring Daniel Radcliffe. Before that he served as Vice President, Sales and Acquisitions at The Little Film Company, where he sold The Academy Award winning film TSOTSI and The Academy Award nominated THE LAST STATION starring Helen Mirren and Christopher Plummer.

In 2002, Epstein was a sales executive at First Look Studios, where he was solely responsible for all distribution of the company’s 300-plus title library. Clay started his career at Kushner-Locke after graduating with a BA in Film Production and a Minor in Italian Studies. He has served on the board of IFTA as an Executive Chair, and has taught and lectured extensively throughout the world including the New York Film Academy, and the AFM Producer seminars.

Lon Haber is the Founder and CEO of Lon Haber & Co., a full-service international film public relations, marketing and branding firm founded in 2000 that bridges the gap between filmmakers, sales companies, production companies, and film festivals, distribution outlets and the international press, public and marketplace.

Haber and his team specialize in the promotion, production, sales and distribution of films, VIPs and special events at all stages of the filmmaking, sales, festival and distribution processes. They pride themselves on their ability to bridge the gap between the filmmaker, sales company, distribution outlet and worldwide audiences via innovative, direct, powerful, and pertinent key-messaging that speak directly to the client’s bottom-line goals, with consistent results in the press and media across all platforms, all over the globe.

Lon and his highly adept team are a hands-on organization with over 20 years of experience that combines the highest in professional work ethic with a compassionate and positive outlook and myriad connections worldwide with offices in Los Angeles, Miami, New York, Seattle, Toronto, London and Sydney. Some of the films Haber’s team has represented or is working on include DOWNSIZING (starring Matt Damon); SUBURBICON (starring Julianne Moore); PREDESTINATION (starring Ethan Hawke); DOG EAT DOG (starring Nicolas Cage and Willem Dafoe) and ANIMAL CRACKERS (starring Ian McKellan, Emily Blunt, etc.), and hundreds more.

Lon Haber additionally teaches Filmmaking, Film Sales and Marketing, The Business of Being an Artist as well as On-Camera acting classes at various schools and universities worldwide. Haber is a graduate of Phillips Academy Andover, holds a BFA in Theatre Arts and a BA in International Affairs from Florida State University (FSU) and an MFA in Cinema and Media Studies and MA in Diplomacy from The University of Southern California (USC).

Brandon Baker got his start in New York working on feature films such as High Art and Fait Accompli, learning both the practical and creative aspects of the business. From there he dabbled as an assistant sound engineer at Broadway Video, but it was not until he moved to Los Angeles in 2000 that he really found his stride. While in L.A., Baker worked in the sales & acquisitions department at Myriad Pictures from 2000 to 2003, acquainting himself with domestic distributors, foreign buyers and the indie film markets & film festivals worldwide. Following that he did sales and acquisitions for MonteCristo Entertainment, Boll AG/Event Film and VMI while in New York; he is currently doing acquisitions and development for Film Mode Entertainment.

Baker returned to New York in 2005 and began to independently produce feature films as well as represent films for distribution plus he started up his own domestic video label - Mystic Pictures. Brandon has produced the feature films Fall Down Dead, Living & Dying, Hallow's End, and Bachelor Party Massacre. Some of the films he has secured distribution and/or sales agent deals for are King Cobra (Tribeca FF premiere), Backcountry (TIFF premiere), Jack Goes Home (SXSW premiere) He Never Died (SXSW premiere), Welcome to Willits, Wicked Blood, Chlorine, Love N' Dancing, The Alphabet Killer, Southern Belles, Good Day for It, The Killing Jar, The Attic and The Kill Hole. Brandon was an associate producer on BloodRayne, In the Name of the King: A Dungeon Siege Tale, The Killing Jar and The Kill Hole. He executive produced King Cobra, Backcountry, Jack Goes Home, Welcome to Willits, The Alphabet Killer and Good Day For It; co-produced He Never Died, Wicked Blood, A Beautiful Life and Love 'n Dancing. To this day, Mr. Baker has produced, repped, acquired, sold, and distributed more than 100 feature films in his 15-year entertainment career.

JOHN BUFFALO is a film and television executive, focused on the development, acquisition and global distribution of independent feature films.

Buffalo moved to the U.S. in 2015 to work in international sales for Cinema Management Group, a global independent distribution company distributing highly successful feature films such as the animation hits ZAMBEZIA and KHUMBA, as well as the critically acclaimed LOVING VINCENT with Saoirse Ronan and Douglas Booth.  Buffalo also acquired a number of films for international distribution for CMG, preparing global sales estimates and negotiating sales agency terms with producers.    

Before joining CMG, Buffalo was President of Acquisitions and Sales with Italian distributor Moviemax, and later was named its Managing Director in Milan. During more than three years at Moviemax, Buffalo acquired and distributed a full slate of high-profile films, including David Ayer’s FURY starring Brad Pitt.  Prior to Moviemax, Buffalo was head of acquisitions for Rome based Italian International Film (Lucisano Media Group), where he acquired numerous films for distribution including Nicolas Winding Refn’s DRIVE and ONLY GOD FORGIVES, both starring Ryan Gosling.  He also acquired Venice Lion winner REDACTED by Brian de Palma. 

Prior to Buffalo’s work in Italy, he began his career in the media business with global media powerhouse Discovery Communications in Silver Spring, MD serving in a variety of roles, in support of their launch of a bouquet of channels around the world. Buffalo also served as an officer in the U.S. Navy, stationed in Japan, Italy and at the Pentagon in Washington, DC.
